Did you know? There are over 13,000 uninsured individuals across the Thumb region. If you or someone you know needs health insurance, the time to start thinking about options is now! The Thumb Community Health Partnership (TCHP) wants to help. Understanding options and how to apply can be difficult. TCHP Health Insurance Navigators can show you the way! Certified navigators are trained to help you understand your options for health insurance.
Open Enrollment begins November 1, 2023, and ends January 15, 2024. HealthCare.gov plans include companies such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Priority Health. Many plans are very low cost. If you can’t afford plans at healthcare.gov, you may qualify for Medicaid. Navigators can also help with Medicaid applications. They can also help you find resources and services in the community.
Having health insurance helps make sure you can get the health care you need to stay healthy.
