Working Together for a Healthy Community

The Thumb Community Health Partnership (TCHP) is located in the rural area of Michigan referred to as the Thumb. The partnership encompasses Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac, and Tuscola County.  Members include public mental health, health departments, local hospitals, human service agencies and community agencies.

Getting Ahead in Huron County

A new session of the Getting Ahead workshop is launching in Huron County. Getting Ahead is a free, 16-session workshop that helps individuals experiencing poverty build resources, understand community factors, and create a personal plan for long-term stability and success. Sessions will be held weekly, with the schedule set by participants to reduce barriers.
