High-demand healthcare jobs in the Thumb include social workers, nursing assistants, and registration clerks, to name just a few. One great resource for career exploration is TCHP’s weekly job bulletin, which is produced in collaboration with GST Michigan Works! Over 200 Thumb-area jobs are shared each week! The bulletin features opportunities for all shifts, education levels, and pay. We highlight a wide range of employers, such as local hospitals, health departments, mental health agencies, and more. GST Michigan Works! offers many services to those seeking employment. Job Seeker Employment Services are available through GST Michigan Works! seven (7) service center locations.  Services available to all job seekers include (but are not limited to):

·       Access to the Career/Resource Center with staff and Reemployment Services to assist you in finding employment.

·       Job Board featuring local job postings and access to the Pure Michigan Talent Connect system.

·       Job, career, and skill self-assessment tools

·       Resources and workshops for resume and cover letter writing and interviewing skills.

·       Information on local and statewide labor market information

·       Directories of human service agencies and referrals to community agencies and organizations

·       Information on financial aid, occupational training, and workplace accommodation
