Working Together for a Healthy Community

The Thumb Community Health Partnership (TCHP) is located in the rural area of Michigan referred to as the Thumb. The partnership encompasses Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac, and Tuscola County.  Members include public mental health, health departments, local hospitals, human service agencies and community agencies.

November SNAP Benefit Pause - Local Food Resources Available
In light of the November pause in SNAP benefits, Thumb Community Health Partnership understands that many individuals and families may be facing additional challenges in accessing nutritious food. To help our community during this time, we encourage you to explore the Thumb Cares website, where you’ll find a comprehensive list of local food resources. Our event calendar features information on food pantries, community food distributions, free meal programs, and more throughout the Thumb area. These resources are available to help ensure that everyone in our community has access to healthy meals and essential support.
