Health Literacy CEUs for Nurses, Physicians, and Community Health Workers

Health Literacy Training

CME Credit available for doctors, advanced practice practitioners, nurses, and Community Health Workers. Our partnership has enjoyed being part of a year-long project to improve health literacy in collaboration with the Michigan State Medical Society. If you are interested in improving your own or your team's ability to make sure information is understood by those you serve, check out the resources by clicking the button below.

Resources include a toolkit and recorded modules that offer CME/CEU credits.





Statement of Accreditation: The Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

*AMA Credit Designation Statement: The MSMS designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Stress Less with Mindfulness

Michigan State University Extension offers a variety of educational programming to help you and your family live healthy lives. Stress Less With Mindfulness introduces participants to the experience and practice of mindfulness, with a goal of reducing stress. Stress Less with Mindfulness teaches and encourages the use of mindfulness self-care skills to help one feel better and enjoy life more.

Alternatives to Anger

RELAX: Alternatives to Anger is an MSU Extension program that consists of four lessons to help participants increase knowledge and skills in dealing with anger and stress. Lesson topics include learning anger triggers, finding ways to calm down, problem solving through conflict and forgiveness.
